We lead with Equity. You’re probably used to seeing this written as “DEI”, but we like to lead with equity. The other facets of the initiative just naturally flow from the idea that leveling the playing field helps us recognize each person’s inherent worth and valuable contributions.
This makes the diversity aspect then feel like a logical extension of the larger policy. With equity established, various groups and individuals actually have a place to flourish.
Finally, inclusion acts as the glue that binds it all together. Having a wide variety of backgrounds and viewpoints is meaningless if everyone isn’t empowered to express an authentic version of themselves.
This isn’t about checking boxes or meeting quotas. We firmly believe that embodying these ideals makes our culture stronger, our work better, and our clients happier.
